Students Awarded Scholarships from Argyle Winery

Three students received $5000 scholarships because the jury liked all three finalists' designs so much, they gave each a scholarship and printed all three labels for a special box set of sparkling wine.

TBA at PNCA

PNCA partners with the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art for PICA's Time-Based Art Festival hosting the exhibition Bunnybrains which includes installation and performance and hosting a series of Artist Dialogues, dynamic and generative discussions with festival artists, curators, scholars, and community leaders that illuminate TBA projects and put artists and audiences in direct dialogue.

Roy Tomlinson: Re-Mapping

On the occasion of his solo exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art & Culture. Roy discusses the genesis of his installation ReMap and the issues it addresses: 'I have been thinking about this piece for over 25 years.' Because it goes deep, we learn about his background as an artist, student, and educator in the Bay Area and the influential artists he worked with there. And we learn about his intuitive and responsive drawing process.
