Office of Student LIfe

We're here to make your experience the best it can be.

In the supportive community of PNCA, academic and student services are personalized. We welcome and support you as an incoming student from day one, empowering you with strategies for thriving as a student, as an artist or designer, and as a human. From New Student Orientation continuing through senior year, the Office of Student Affairs helps you get the most from your PNCA experience and meet challenges along the way both inside and outside the classroom.

We coordinate Residence Life for student housing and help students find off-campus housing. We support student well being with health insurance, workshops, professional counseling, and accommodations for students with special needs.

We offer informal advising on a range of student affair concerns as well. Our door is always open.

We support Student Council and assist with student-organized clubs funded by Student Council such as Outdoor Adventure, F.O.F.U.S (the ukulele club), Queer Union, POC Club, Volunteer Club, Broadcast Club, and Poetry Society.

We coordinate field trips to the beach, Seattle, the Portland Art Museum. And we organize monthly pop-up shops for you to sell your work during First Thursdays.

We support student development by facilitating inclusive extracurricular activities and safe spaces to engage in community, agency, and self expression.
