Our in-house, student-staffed, professional design studio

Center for Design is our in-house professional design studio, operated by students and their mentors. Clients who engage Center for Design to execute design projects fund production costs and students receive a portfolio filled with actual design work and a working client list.

The PNCA Center for Design is a design studio offering students real world design experience in a classroom setting. Center for Design students get professional experience in design, art direction, and project management while adding commercially produced work to their portfolios.

Center for Design students work in teams to get valuable professional experience in design, art direction, and project management. Through projects for clients such as adidas, Pendleton, and Oregon Public House, students engage all aspects of a professional creative practice, from initial client meetings, strategy development, and creative briefs to scheduling, concept, presentation, and final execution.

WORK WITH US

Clients such as Maryhill Museum, Design Week Portland, adidas, and Pendleton have engaged our students to bring fresh design thinking to their products and brands.
