From PNCA to the Peace Corps

For Sarah, serving in the Peace Corps was a dream she had since she visited Myanmar as a child. When asked what prepared her for her Peace Corps service, she cited her participation in Student Life at PNCA. She was Treasurer of the Student Council and President of the Outdoor Club. She was involved in many volunteer and service projects while at PNCA and completed an internship at Design Me Textiles in London 2018.

Sarah's thesis was entitled: Coming of Age as a Burmese American Artist. Sarah is living in Portland until she leaves for Myanmar and has been working as a TA in the Printmaking Department.
