East Creek will host 5 firings this year in the 40-foot anagama wood kiln. They will host the NW Wood Firing Conference in June 2020 (NWWFC.com) and over 10 concurrent exhibitions.
East Creek has partnered with the Rainmaker Craft Initiative to use tools disbursed by OCAC and continue craft tradition in the Northwest.
A summer residency program in now online: East Creek Residency. The first artist-in-residence was Kara Hall, a current AC+D student. A private resident studio has been completed within the East Creek Studio.
When he is not at East Creek, Joe is teaching Ceramics and 3D Design at Linfield College.
