Alumni Connection is an ongoing series of conversations featuring PNCA alumni interviewing fellow alumni about their art practice. This session features PNCA alum Lehuauakea, a mixed-Native Hawaiian interdisciplinary artist from Pāpaʻikou on Moku O Keawe, Big Island of Hawai’i who received her BFA in Painting with a minor in Art + Ecology from PNCA in 2020. Interviewing Lehua is alum Angélica Maria Millán Lozano, who received her MFA in Visual Studies from PNCA in 2017, is the co-founder of cvllejerx - a fashion, poetry, and performance collective - and currently works as the Senior Communications Associate at Powerhouse Arts, an arts not-for-profit based in Brooklyn, NY.
