PNCA and MUJI
October 04, 2018
When MUJI wanted to build an Art Wall for its new downtown Portland flagship store, they approached PNCA to make it happen. This collaborative project welcomes objects from the general public that hold personal memories and stories to be incorporated into the Wall. Our own Nan Curtis, artist, Chair of Studio Arts, and Department Head of the Sculpture program will manage the project with a team of students. The Willamette Week has the story:
The Center for Contemporary Art & Culture at Pacific Northwest College of Art is excited to invite the public to the October First Thursday Art Walk in the North Park Blocks for a series of exhibition openings, performances, live music, drop-in activities and refreshments!
We are thrilled to announce PNCA’s 2023-24 Visiting Artist Lecture Series!
PNCA’s Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies and Center for Contemporary Art & Culture welcomes prominent artists, scholars, designers, curators, and critics from around the country and beyond, to engage with the Portland arts community.

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Cole has accepted our offer to become the next dean of the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), effective March 2022, and delighted that she will hold Willamette’s first named deanship, recognizing a generous new gift from Jordan D. Schnitzer.
