Parents and Kids Explore Everyday Materials in Upcoming Workshop

Parents and kids learn to use everyday objects to think outside the box in a creative, hands-on workshop on July 24 in The Lab at Museum of Contemporary Craft. Inna Alesina, co-author with Ellen Lupton of Exploring Materials: Creative Design for Everyday Objects, leads this engaging and interactive session from 10 am-12 pm. The workshop is suitable for children age 6 and up, and is free with Adult admission of $3.

Inna Alesina is an independent product designer and a faculty member in the environmental design department at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). In addition to the workshop, Exploring Materials will be on sale through The Gallery.
