Lights Over the River

April 12, 2009

Native Portlander Hap Tivey visited Pacific Northwest College of Art on the evening of April 11 to meet several PNCA students for a large outdoor light installation. A group of BFA and MFA students assisted Tivey with the project involving various spaces along the Eastbank Esplenade between the Morrison and Hawthorne bridges. Large cement culverts were illuminated with glow sticks visible from the West side of the Willamette river.
