Students arrived at Parallax and met with Low-Residency Visual Studies alum Ahuva Zaslavsky who was in the 2023 exhibition and artist/designer Josh Sin who talked about their experiences as GLEAN artists-in-residence.

Students got to ask the artists about their process and got valuable feedback on the application process and what makes a competitive portfolio. Leslie shared details on what makes a stand-out application and the do's and dont's of crafting a compelling artist statement and portfolio.
