The Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies is so excited to invite you to our first art walk of the summer tomorrow 6/27 at 3PM at Elizabeth Leach Gallery to view artist Derek Franklin's solo exhibition Everyday grief is on my calendar at 2:00PM
Art walks are a super informal way of learning about exhibitions, artists, and curators in the Portland art's community. We get an hour of the artist's time to get a one-on-one deep dive into the work.
Derek will be there to walk us through the exhibition and answer any questions you might have about the work, his practice or anything you'd like to ask him. We will be meeting at 2:45 in the atrium of the 511 building and walking over to Elizabeth Leach Gallery which is a couple of blocks away.
Art Walks are an excellent way to get to know the broader Portland art community and we sincerely hope to see you there!
