Visual Studies MFA alum Simone Fischer's 5th solo exhibition JWUNY (just wait until next year) presented by after/time gallery opens April 6th from 5-8PM at:

This exhibition is inspired by femme mobility and supports women and families seeking safety and independence from domestic abuse. just wait until next year has partnered with the Raphael House of Portland and 50% of all proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to the organization.
This exhibition was generously supported by The Hallie Ford Foundation and Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA). In conjunction, programming will include an artist panel talk hosted on April 8th, 12pm between Simone Fischer & Quinn Wilson of Raphael House, moderated by curator Luiza Lukova.
In the PNCA Atrium Rosie Colette is presenting her solo exhibition Mounds.
One of the best painters in PNCA, please come support their important paintings on Trans and Queer stories navigating gendered expressions which focus on sensuality, absurdity, dysphoria, ritual, romance tragedy and triumph.

Join PNCA's MFA Applied Craft + Design Chair Sara Huston, faculty member and mentor Abbie Miller and artist and craftswoman Annica Cuppetelli in conversation as they delve into their individual use of both hand work and machine techniques, and share their research on the various layers of production and information that are intertwined with objects, processes, and materials, as well as their need to evolve, adapt, and establish craft in relationship to making and industry. The event will be at GMA Architects, where Miller’s ongoing exhibition serves as a backdrop for the talk.
