Twilight Talk: Greg Block

January 31, 2017

Please join the MFA in Collaborative Design program February 1 as we continue our Twilight Talks series with guest Greg Block.

After 12 years leading the Wild Salmon Center, Greg was recently named president of Sustainable Northwest, whose mission is to “bring people, ideas and innovation together so nature, local economies, and rural communities can thrive.” For more than thirty years, Greg has done work around issues like conservation of biodiversity, trade and the environment, pollutants and health, and law and policy.

The Twilight Talks series provides opportunity for students, faculty and colleagues to get up close and personal with local and visiting leaders addressing wicked problems through design and creative process. Featured guests come from business, non-profit, and government sectors to talk about current environmental, social and entrepreneurial challenges they’re facing, and brainstorm novel approaches with us. The atmosphere is informal, the discussions are intense, the beverages are local.

High-octane conversations with special guests every Wednesday from 5 to 6 PM in PNCA’s Design Corridor
