Students present Cultural Entrepreneurship Projects at Hatch Innovation
December 17, 2018
Students from the Cultural Entrepreneurship course will be presenting their final projects at HatchLab PDX on Tuesday, December 18th from 7-9pm. In this course, students explore the many dimensions of cultural and social entrepreneurship from meaning and ethics to the intricacies of designing a social enterprise. This course is taught by MFA Collaborative Design alumna Danielle Olson, who currently serves as the Program Director at Hatch Innovation Lab, where she co-manages the non-profit’s operations and leads programming efforts for social entrepreneurs; including educational content, partnerships, and events.
Each student has designed a social enterprise concept based on their individual research and experiences, which will certainly inform their graduate thesis work work, as well as potentially evolve into actual enterprises in the future. Please join us to support the students in the hard work they have done all semester and provide feedback.
