Graduate Lecture Series Recap with Rehanah Spence
February 10, 2023
To kick off the spring 2023 Graduate Lecture Series we hosted designer Rehanah Spence. She talked about her experience of working with Wieden & Kennedy, freelancing and her experience with working for Google currently.
She talked about how she became a designer and how students can set themselves apart with a portfolio that showcases curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of fundamentals. She worked on campaigns with Addidas, Nike, and Lebron James and traveled the world for humanitarian projects to support teenage girls in Ethiopia.
From designing a basketball court for Pharrell to making vinyl cover art, Rehanah's career is impressive and incredibly inspiring. Big thank you to Collaborative Design chair Skye Moret for inviting Rehanah to share her work with our students.
