Graduate Studies launches 2021 Engagement Scholarships

November 21, 2020

PNCA’s Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies has been hard at work expanding and improving the options for candidates to engage with us along their path to graduate school. There are now more ways than ever to meaningfully connect with our team, learn about our offerings, and experience our community from anywhere in the world. We know that when artists, designers, and scholars have the chance to explore PNCA - from curriculum to facilities and more - the next step on their journey becomes clearer. This year, we are pleased to support candidates who seize these opportunities through our 2021 Graduate Engagement Award.

Graduate Studies candidates who are admitted to an MFA, MA, or Post-Baccalaureate program for Summer or Fall 2021 become eligible for this award after participating in one qualifying event or engagement experience from each of three categories.

1. Graduate Tour

Get to know our facilities! Qualifying experiences include onsite tours and guided virtual tours. If you have had a graduate campus tour in the past and you want to make sure you qualify, just reach out to our office.

2. Personal Advising

Let us help you find the program that is right for you, prepare your portfolio, or just answer your lingering questions about PNCA. Qualifying experiences include private portfolio reviews, personal advising calls/video meetings, or in person advising sessions that occur between May 2020 and July 2021. If you are wondering if your engagement with a member of our team qualifies you for this category, just reach out to our office.

3. Graduate Studies Events

Get to know our community! Qualifying experiences include attendance or participation in any online or in person event hosted by the Graduate School (such as our Graduate Symposium, Information Sessions, Lecture Series Events, and more) or attended by the Graduate School as a sponsor or affiliate (Professional conferences, National portfolio days, Community Events). This attendance or participation must occur between May 2020 and July 2021. If you are wondering if your qualifying attendance or participation is on file, just reach out to our office.

Details

Qualifying experiences must be verifiable in our records, so be sure to RSVP and register for public events with our office, or reach out to us to confirm if you have qualified in any of the categories. This award may be combined with merit scholarships or other program awards.

The awards are issued as non-renewable tuition remission applied to the first term of enrollment in the amount of $1000 for domestic students or $1500 for International students. The deadline to qualify for the Graduate Engagement Award is July 1, 2021.
