Congratulations Tabitha Nikolai, Creative Exchange Lab Resident

Congratulations to MFA in Visual Studies alumna Tabitha Nikolai who has been invited as an artist-in-residence for the Spring 2019 Creative Exchange Lab at Portland Institute for Contemporary Art. Nikolai recently had a solo exhibition, Utopia without you, at Williamson|Knight (now Holding Contemporary) and currently has work in Dire Jank at apexart in New York through May 19.
Nikolai and the other Creative Exchange Lab residents will give brief presentations on their practices Monday, April 29 at 6pm at PICA.

Schnitzer family's $2M gift to support Willamette University/Pacific Northwest College of Art merger
Willamette will launch a search soon to retain a nationally recognized educator and leader in art and design to serve as PNCA’s new dean. This $2 million gift from the late Arlene Schnitzer will create the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer PNCA Dean’s Initiative Fund, and provide the new PNCA Dean with resources to test new initiatives, facilitate collaboration between the PNCA and Willamette faculties, and more.
