New Department Head: Kristin Rogers Brown

Graphic Design has a new Department Head, but she's not new to us. We're excited to welcome Kristin Rogers Brown to this leadership position in the department. She has been teaching at PNCA for many years as assistant professor in charge of PNCA's Illustration Advanced Studio, among other courses. All the while, she's been Art Director of Bitch Media, an independent media organization whose mission is to provide and encourage an engaged, thoughtful, feminist response to mainstream media and pop culture. And she gives time to organizing in the design community, having worked with AIGA and Design Week Portland to connect and amplify Portland's vibrant creative community and their works.
