PNCA Faculty Modou Dieng’s recent collaboration with Damien Gilley, SHOOT YOU – SHOOT ME, is the focus of an “ARTFORUM”:http://artforum.com/picks/section=us#picks22058 review.
The show runs through March 1 at “Rocksbox”:http://www.rocksboxfineart.com/current, 6540 N. Interstate Ave. Gallery hours are Saturday through Sunday, noon to 6 pm.
Dieng is a dynamic contemporary artist whose work has been exhibited at Steve Turner Gallery (Los Angeles), Carousel du Louvre (Paris) and Casa Encendida (Madrid). The _New York Times_ says that his work for the 2008 show “Flow” in New York, “evokes the exhilaration and misplaced optimism of 1960s Africa.”
