Sunny Eckerle

Hello! I’m an illustrator living and working in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in southern Colorado and began my illustration career in Brooklyn, New York but now consider the Pacific Northwest home.

I create editorial, book, lifestyle, and commercial illustrations. My work is often described as peaceful and grounded. I believe in tacit power – less is usually more.

I’ve worked with clients such as The New York Times, Chronicle Books, Real Simple, MUJI USA, Starbucks, Nike + more.

In addition to illustration and teaching I enjoy barre, biking, and frequent walks around my NE Portland neighborhood.
