PDP (Public Display of Professionalism) Patricia Margarita Hernandez and Natalia Zuluaga

Public Display of Professionalism is a research platform based in Miami co-founded by Domingo Castillo, Patricia M. Hernández, and Natalia Zuluaga. The projects that PDP undertakes focus on the ways in which image, financial capital, and information flows mobilize master plans, redevelop cities, and hedge on the future.

Patricia Margarita Hernández is a curator based in New York invested in collaborative art production and research. Hernández’s work focuses on climate change, feminist theory, coastal city development within a neoliberal schema. In addition to being a member of P.D.P., she is also a member of the Alliance of the Southern Triangle (A.S.T.), a platform for artists and architects focused on speculative urbanism and climate change.
Patricia received her M.A. at the Centre for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (2016) and is currently the Associate Director of A.I.R. Gallery, the first women artists run cooperative space in the United States.

Natalia Zuluaga is a curator and researcher based in Miami, Florida. She is currently Curator at Large at ArtCenter South Florida where she develops a variety of initiatives that bridge contemporary art and other fields. Since 2015 she has co-run [NAME] Publications, a non-profit cultural office and publishing platform that develops and supports books and public programs by artists, curators, transdisciplany theorist, designers, and institutions. Her work focuses on developing artistic, curatorial, and pedagogical platforms from which a variety of agents could develop discussions, objections and questions about climate change, political ecologies, and and decolonial thinking. Natalia received her M.A. at the Centre for Curatorial Studies, Bard College.
