Wade Schuster’s thesis exhibition /trəˈvərs/ investigates the experiences of memory and time through walking translated into oil painting.
Wade Schuster is an artist and art educator originally from Madison, Wisconsin. He received a BA in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before moving to Las Vegas, where he lived and worked from 2005–2020. He has exhibited widely, with works held in both public and private collections, including the permanent collection of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art in Las Vegas, Nevada. He currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
