I am an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with moving images. My work is often self-referential and explores themes like personal identity, internal experience, and more recently the concept of home. Within I Remember a House , I combine ideas of memoir and experimental narrative into a poetic moving image piece.
I Remember a House is an animated film telling a chronology of all the houses I have lived in up till now. Based on writing and memory, the film takes the viewer along with me on a journey through twelve houses and an evolving definition of what home is. The piece is also process driven, made up of over a thousand individual paintings that take my background in painting and drawing to another level by creating motion that still images alone cannot.
