Living in the Inbetween
Living in the Inbetween is meant to encapsulate and reimagine the memories and feelings that are unknowingly stored away in spaces and objects. This project is a visual representation of how memory can take over space, objects, and time, through the use of architectural forms and intuitive application.

Project Statement
Living in the Inbetween is meant to encapsulate and reimagine the memories and feelings that are unknowingly stored away in spaces and objects. This project is a visual representation of how memory can take over space, object and time, through use of architectural forms and intuitive application. To entice self-presence and hazy recollection by presenting everyday “waste” as a domesticated abstraction.
About Sam Kegg
Sam Kegg is a multidisciplinary artist currently based out of Portland, OR. When they’re not writing, painting or drawing you can find them investigating new expressions of art, like sculpting with found objects, or casting concrete. Driven by the need to bridge the gap between their world and the one we all live in, each work is created to bring back memories of something we may have long forgotten.
