Qamuuqin Maxwell is an Iñupiat/American artist from the Pacfic Northwest. With a practice that intersects photography with found-object bricolage, research and writing, collaboration, and marks on paper, his work responds to questions and concepts related to issues of place, Indigeneity, objecthood, and constructions of “nature.”
