Project Statement
This wardrobe subverts expectations of the ‘modern professional’ where rigidity and control in tailored garments become deconstructed. Each piece is made in organic cotton muslin, bringing forth the material of unseen and underappreciated labor, referencing the stage of drafting in clothing design. The pieces distill components of office wear and disrupt expectations of the body in orderly spaces. Value systems are reassessed, asserting multiple ways of existing- in constructing clothing, dressing, and attitudes on professionalism.

About Evve
