Delta Vasquez is a sick and tired mixed Mexican transgendererered faggot based in pasty Portland, Oregon. His practice revolves around cartooning and animating, taking cues from time- based artistry. While primarily dealing in narrative, the themes of his work are often rooted in the grounded ideas of coming-of-age experiences and dialogue around marginalization.
His primary job at the political cartoon oriented publisher The Nib has broadened his scope of dialogue in identity politics while also given him several opportunities to edit and publish comic work. His short films have been exhibited in galleries and screenings in Oregon, California, Italy, and Belgium. His other comic work can be found in the third Unversed anthology, Postscript, and on Gumroad, Instagram, and Twitter.
His dream is to forget about internet discourse and make some paella for dinner. This is unlikely to happen.
