Our Painting and Drawing Minor

  • DR364 Systems, Strategies, and Structures

    Explore diverse techniques to express – and transform – your ideas through drawing. Dive into both historical and contemporary practices to develop your artistic voice and bring your concepts to life.

  • DR261 The Figure and Human Anatomy

    This course focuses on the human form, blending rigorous practice with thought-provoking discussions on art and representation. Enhance your expressive skills while exploring the profound ideas behind depicting humanity.

Requirements & Admission

To meet the Painting and Drawing minor requirements, you need to take a variety of 3-credit courses that add up to 15 credits. You can work with your Academic Advisor to make a personalized plan that shows how this minor fits into your studies and makes sure your course choices match your goals and interests.
