Accessible Education

Fostering Inclusivity and Accessibility for All Students

PNCA is committed to accessible and inclusive programs. Accessible Education Services (AES) provides holistic support for students that experience disability or identify as disabled. We honor disability as an important aspect of human diversity and seek to foster social justice in all we do.

We apply a holistic approach to ensure that PNCA students have access to all aspects of the PNCA experience. AES determines eligibility for academic and non-academic accommodations for students with disability experiences. AES also serves as a resource on accessibility for all students, faculty, and staff at PNCA.

Services We Provide

AES determines student eligibility for a range of academic and non-academic accommodations. We serve as a vital resource on accessibility for students, faculty, and staff across all academic programs at PNCA. Our services include:

  • Accommodation Process: Personalized support to navigate and request necessary accommodations.
  • Housing Accommodations: Ensuring your living arrangements meet your needs.
  • Emotional Support and Service Animals: Assistance with the approval process and integration of support animals on campus.
  • Flexible Attendance: Options to accommodate varying attendance needs due to health conditions.
  • Remote Attendance: Providing access to classes and events for students who cannot be physically present.
