Fan art can be a great way to develop your skills and explore new styles, but where does it fit in your PNCA portfolio? In this virtual info session, we will define “fan art” and discuss ways to use your fan art as a jumping off point for new, original artwork with your unique, artistic voice. We will also go over common portfolio mistakes and how to avoid them. At the end of the session you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered by PNCA Admissions Counselors.

• Tips on photographing and formatting your artwork using accessible items at home.

This event will be hosted in a webinar format - allowing you to ask questions via the Q&A after the presentation has concluded. Students, parents and other family members are welcome to attend.

Your portfolio is ready, your artist statement is in top shape, and now it’s time to submit your application! In this virtual info session we will walk you through the process of submitting your application from start to finish. We will review how to start or continue your application, upload your portfolio and artist statement, request your official transcripts, and how to know if your application is complete. PNCA Admissions Counselors will be available for Q+A at the end of the session.

We’re going to introduce you to our favorite art galleries, coffee shops, thrift stores, food trucks, and beautiful parks that make Portland, Oregon such an inspiring place to call home. We'll also introduce you to PNCA, the only AICAD fine art college in the state of Oregon. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with PNCA admissions counselors.
