At PNCA, we believe the world needs bold and creative makers who can think within and beyond boundaries, who test our assumptions about how and why the world works, and who know that the most successful solutions come from collaborations between diverse peoples, fields, methodologies, and ideologies. We welcome you to join our school and be part of the makers and thinkers solving some of the most challenging problems facing our world.

Scholarships and Cost of Attendance

PNCA offers a variety of scholarships for domestic and international students alike, and are renewable annually. Scholarship awards are based on quality of portfolio, GPA, essay, and financial need. You are automatically considered for these scholarships when you apply.

International undergraduate students also receive an additional $1000 renewable International Student Scholarship. The scholarships require that students maintain a 2.0 GPA. PNCA does not currently offer any scholarships that cover the full cost of attendance.

Deadlines

PNCA will accept students until August 1st or until a program is full. However, if you are outside of the United States and need a visa to arrive, you must apply before the deadlines below:

  • Fall - PNCA undergraduate application due February 1, all supporting materials are due by February 8, Admission Decision will be sent out by March 1, PNCA Tuition Deposit due by May 1.
  • Summer - Low-Residency MFA programs: May 1st
  • Spring - PNCA undergraduate application due November 1 along with all supporting materials, Admission Decision will be sent out by November 15, PNCA Tuition Deposit due by December 10.
  • Winter - Low-Residency Creative Writing: November 1st
