PNCA Undergraduate Enrolling Student

Please check back to this page periodically during the enrollment process as dates are subject to change.

Welcome to PNCA

Congratulations on your decision to enroll at Pacific Northwest College of Art. The information below is intended to help prepare you for your first semester on campus.

The information below is specific for students enrolling for the fall 2026 semester.

Once you have created your Willamette University email account, you will be sent additional instructions once a task is ready for you to complete. Many of these processes are sequential and rely on the completion of the prior step before moving forward.

If you check your Willamette email account and personalized new student checklist regularly and complete tasks in a timely manner, you’ll stay on track for a successful launch to your life at PNCA.

If you have questions at any point, start with the Office of Admissions at 503-821-8972. The Office of Admissions is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific and we can help you find the best campus resource to assist you.

Start Here: Setting Up Your Network Account

Begins: April 1, 2026
Required

The day after you reply to your offer of admission and pay your enrollment deposit, you can create your network account. You will receive an email to notify you when you are able to create your account. Do not attempt to do so before receiving this notification.

This step will activate your university email address and enable access to all the services you'll need as a student. Once activated, all future emails from Pacific Northwest College of Art and Willamette University, including instructions as an enrolling student, will be directed to your @willamette.edu email address.

You will need your student ID number to create your account. You can find your student ID number on your PNCA Applicant Portal (where you replied to your offer of admission and paid your deposit).

Failure to create your network account will delay other critical tasks, including course registration, housing and roommate assignment and bill payment.

For assistance accessing your PNCA Applicant Portal:
Contact: Office of Admissions
Phone: 503-821-8972
Email: pncaadmissions@willamette.edu

For assistance creating your network account:
Contact: Willamette Integrated Technology Services (WITS) Help Desk
Phone: 503-370-6767
Email: wits@willamette.edu

Begins: April 1, 2026
Required

Willamette University requires the use of Google 2-Step Authentication. You'll be prompted to do this immediately after network account creation and must do so within one week.

Failure to enable 2-Step Authentication within one week of account creation will lock your account. If your account is locked, you must contact WITS from a personal email account for assistance.

Follow these instructions to add your Willamette email account, including your calendar, to your mobile device.

A personalized checklist is available for each student to help track the steps toward enrollment. We recommend you check it regularly to ensure you are staying on track. You may access your checklist after you’ve created your network account.

PNCA requires all students to live in university housing for two semesters. You may review the Criteria for Exemptions, but those typically granted include students residing with parent(s)/guardian(s) within 25 miles of campus or are over the age of 21 by the start of the academic year.

To request an exemption, submit the Residency Requirement Exception Request form. You will then be provided access to the exemption application within the WU Housing Portal and provide any requested documentation.

Please note, your offer of financial aid is based on the cost of attendance as an on-campus residential student. If approved for an exemption, your offer of financial aid may be adjusted. Contact your admissions counselor or the Office of Financial Aid for additional information prior to requesting an exemption.
