Want to learn more about PNCA from a student’s perspective? Join is for our virtual Ask Me Anything (AMA) Live Zoom Q&A session! This is your chance to speak with current PNCA students along with PNCA Admissions Counselors directly to get insight into what life is like as an art school student. Come prepared with questions and learn all about academics, life in Portland, and more!

In the first of our summer virtual events for new PNCA students, you’ll learn about the registration process and the ways that PNCA supports students academically. We’ll review how to register for classes, how to find courses to consider, and more. We will also go over the academic accommodations process and the academic support systems available at PNCA.

During this virtual event you will learn all about PNCA’s student housing, ArtHouse, and residence life at PNCA. We will go over how to navigate the Housing Portal, the process for roommate selection, what to expect on move-in day, what an RA is and what they do, and more.

During this virtual event, we will go over the many aspects of Student Affairs at PNCA. You will learn more about Student Engagement and Leadership, Health and Wellness, what to expect during New Student Orientation, and more! We will also go over PNCA’s mental health and wellbeing support, academic support and the accommodations process, and how to get involved on campus through student leadership and student groups.

On Campus Admitted Student Events

Join us in celebrating the hard work of our 2026 graduating class while exploring PNCA’s studios! We are offering exclusive campus tours before PNCA’s May First Thursday event featuring the BFA Thesis Exhibition. First Thursday is your chance to see a unique side of our campus as we open our doors to the public for show openings, performances, refreshments, and more. Tours will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., before First Thursday events begin at 5 p.m.

Explore experimental collage through cyanotype patches and button making to create one-of-a-kind accessories. All materials will be provided. We will start promptly at 2:15, so all participants should arrive no later than 2:10 pm for check in.

The best way to decide if PNCA feels like home is to pay us a visit. When you visit campus, you’ll see where our students spend their time creating work and sharing ideas – and you’ll get a feel for the area.

When you schedule your visit, you can build it out to include a meeting with an Admissions Counselor, a tour of ArtHouse, and a Classroom Visit.
