Full Tuition Merit & Visual Studies Scholarships

How to Apply for the PNCA Full Tuition Merit Scholarship and Visual Studies Scholarships

  • Submit a completed Graduate application for 2027 by the Priority Deadline of January 15th, 2027. You must be admitted into PNCA for the 2027 incoming class.

Scholarship Details

  • Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies at PNCA offers 2 Merit based Full Tuition Scholarships
  • The PNCA Full Tuition Merit Scholarships will cover the full amount of tuition annually at PNCA. The students who receive these scholarships cannot combine the Full Tuition Merit Scholarship with other PNCA scholarship options. However, Financial Aid and outside scholarships can be applied to your attendance.
  • The awarded students are responsible for their own housing costs. PNCA Graduate Students are not offered campus housing.

  • Merit Based Scholarships

    Selection Criteria

    Scholarship recipients are selected based on the following:

    • Strength of portfolio, writing sample or critical writing sample.
    • Strength of statement of purpose, recommendations, and overall quality of application

    Scholarship Renewal

    These scholarships are renewable annually. To maintain these scholarships, you must:

    • Maintain full-time student status
    • Demonstrate satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree

  • Visual Studies Scholarships

    The following Scholarships are available to graduate students pursuing a degree in Visual Studies:

    • Wilber Larson Scholarship
    • Laura Russo Scholarship
    • Palmen Family Scholarship

    Selection Criteria

    Scholarship recipients are selected based on the following:

    • Strength of portfolio and interest in pursuing a degree in Visual Arts.

    Scholarship Renewal

    These scholarships are renewable annually. To maintain these scholarships, you must:

    • Maintain full-time student status
    • Demonstrate satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree
