*Courses should be studio and/or performance based and not solely theory based. PNCA will consider vocational and technical studies, dependent on accreditation and subject matter. Students should take courses related to their intended major. Seek advising.

MAJOR AREA: 36-48 credits required (depending on the major)
STUDIO ELECTIVES: 12-24 credits required (depending on the major)
Total Credits for a BFA degree at PNCA: 121 credits

Notes: A grade of C- or better must be earned in order for a class to transfer. Maximum credits that can be transferred to PNCA is 73 semester credits. Transfer students must complete at least 48 semester credits at PNCA. Most studio courses taken at Community Colleges that do not meet the PNCA Foundation Studio courses will transfer in as Studio Electives. Transfer Equivalency Guide does not guarantee a class for transfer. It is highly recommended that a student receive guidance from their Community College Advisor and PNCA Admissions Counselor.
