Study Abroad at PNCA

Explore the World Through Art

At PNCA, we believe that studying abroad isn't just an opportunity—it's a transformative experience that shapes your perspective, your art, and your future. Through our Office of International Education, we offer students the chance to broaden their creative horizons by immersing themselves in diverse cultures and unique artistic communities around the globe.

Why Study Abroad?

Imagine expanding your education with new perspectives, exploring different cultures, and forming an international network of friends and mentors—all while honing your craft as an artist or designer. Your time abroad will not only enrich your education but also offer a fresh perspective on your own culture and creative process. The skills you gain—adaptability, cultural awareness, and an ability to collaborate across borders—give you a competitive edge in the creative world.

  • Expand Your Creative Practice

Through our exchange agreements with 12 world-renowned art institutions, you'll have access to a variety of specialized programs tailored to your artistic development. Study sculpture in Stockholm, design in Eindhoven, or contemporary art in Monterrey—each location offers unique opportunities to challenge yourself and grow.

  • Global Studios

For those looking for shorter international experiences, PNCA’s Global Studios offer faculty-led programs that take you to key art events and cultural hubs. Past programs have included programs to the Venice Biennale, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro. These immersive trips offer a chance to engage deeply with global art movements and traditions, sparking new ideas and influences in your own work.

  • Global Learning and Diversity Development Initiative

To make these experiences more accessible, PNCA’s Global Learning and Diversity Development Initiative offers increased financial support to ensure more students can participate in global learning.
