Maintain a rigorous creative practice that is informed by personal experiences and explorations across several disciplines. Exhibit informed practices in multiple areas and execute projects across a range of disciplines; demonstrates ability to work independently/self-sufficiently as well as collaboratively and in communal shops, studios, and maker spaces, while engaging methods of appropriate techniques, respect, accountability, sustainability, safety, and maintenance. Analyze their own creative practice and that of others, formulate lines of critical inquiry, apply an equitable worldview and multiple ways of knowing to devise complex solutions using evidence and creative risk-taking.(PNCA CLO 1,2,3,6)
Comprehend contemporary global social, civic and community issues, connect these issues to their broad professional practice, and demonstrate personal and professional skills to take meaningful action as an active participant in a global economy. (PNCA CLO 1, 2,3,4,6)
Studio Arts students will recognize elements of studio arts employment opportunities, and develop media and digital literacy skills, and applied practices necessary for resilient contemporary creative careers (PNCA CLO 1,2,4,5,7)
