Molly Mendoza is an artist living in Portland, Oregon. Through their work they explore the complex emotions of interpersonal relationships and self-love with a focus on layered visual storytelling, mark-making, and color. They write stories, they paint murals, they teach students, and they draw.
Molly has worked with editorial clients such as The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Adobe, and The Marshall Project. They've been published by Scholastic, Chronicle, Flying Eye, Nobrow Press, and have been met with praise for their illustration work by Kirkus starred reviews alongside Ignatz and Eisner nominations. Molly has also had the pleasure of working with RACC to create murals around the city of Portland.
