Due to the effects of COVID-19, Saturday Sessions, smARTworks and design.labs are on hold for Summer 2022. We will update this space as future plans unfold!

Inspire and grow talent and confidence

Taught by enthusiastic artists and educators, our Youth Classes are warm, welcoming, and inclusive. Our learning environments are safe spaces where all students feel respected and where their ideas and art are valued.

smARTworks Young Artists Summer Camps

Our Summer Youth Camps offer an immersive environment to inspire creativity and growth.

smARTworks camps combine fun and learning with art making from paper crafts to clay, costumes, and more. Students get individual attention from instructors to help nurture their creative growth. Sessions are split into three age groups 4-6, 7-9, and 10-11.

Tuition includes: a smARTworks t-shirt, fresh organic snacks from local growers, and supervised care between the hours of 8:30–9am and 4:00-4:30pm. Students attending full-day camp bring their own sack lunches.

design.labs Summer Camps

design.labs introduces young people aged 12-14 to key concepts, methods, and tools in design with inspiring projects in a supportive atmosphere. Students learn to develop products, services, and the built environment. In each class, students will develop projects individually and collaboratively, create models and presentations either by manual construction or in digital form, maintain a design log and engage in discussions about the utility and sustainability of their and their peers’ designs. This program focuses on integrating design with concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math.
