Pacific Northwest College of Art Increases Enrollment by 10%

Portland, OR—October 17, 2017—Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) is pleased to report the largest ever incoming class for the six programs of PNCA’s Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies since its first program was launched ten years ago.

In addition, PNCA reports a nearly 10% increase in total enrollment for the 2107-18 academic year with the largest incoming undergraduate class in five years. PNCA credits part of the boost in numbers to smoothing the process for transfer students, particularly community college students from Oregon as well as others who are seeking to complete their 4-year degree at a private art and design college.

Finally, PNCA's new partnership with Pensole Footwear Design Academy in Portland has also boosted enrollment. PNCA expects to introduce new design programs for Fall 2018.

"The faculty and staff at PNCA have worked together to bring in many great students from Oregon, across the country, and internationally" says Don Tuski, President of PNCA.
