Mallory Pratt joined the PNCA faculty in 2008. She began in molecular biology research on E. coli and moved into teaching science in public school where her specialty was watershed ecology and riparian restoration. Her work at PSU was in the field of neurophysiology, looking for evidence of circadian rhythm in the auditory system of frogs. Mallory is currently part of a partnership with OMSI through the Art+Science Initiative to integrate arts education into their Discovery Center summer science program (STEAM). Her favorite pursuits outside PNCA are sailing, kayaking, hiking and volunteer Crew Leader with Friends of Trees.
